Jerry Gibson Lyons, 75, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Acuity Specialty of Ohio Valley at Wheeling. He was born on December 21, 1941 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Bernard P. and Betty (Gibson) Lyons.

He worked as a mechanic for Doan Ford and later retired from Barkcamp State Park as a maintenance supervisor after 32 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Morris) Lyons on January 6, 2007.

Jerry is survived by a daughter, Julie (Ty) Carpenter of Newark; a son, Chuck (Tonya) Lyons of Bethesda; 5 grandchildren, Rachel Carpenter, Zack Lyons, Zane Lyons, Lynzi (Brandon) Toliver, and Stephen Burkhart.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Crestview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
