Jeanette Opal Hall, 95, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Walton Home surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born on January 3, 1930 in Barnesville to the late Bernard and Hazel Ann (Bunting) Carpenter. Jeanette was a 1948 graduate of Barnesville High School. She was a member of the Sandy Ridge Church of Christ. Jeanette worked for many years for Halls IGA and Lakeland Foods. Jeanette enjoyed baking and feeding people, she always wanted to make sure there was plenty of leftovers to take home. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perley Hall; sister, Ruth Allar; brothers, Kenneth Carpenter, Robert Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, and Donald Carpenter. Jeanette is survived by her children, Steven (Ronda) Hall, Brenda Carpenter, and Todd (Brenda) Hall; grandchildren, Jeremy Hall, Charity (Greg) Martin, Clarissa D'Aquila, Cameron Hall, and Royce Hall; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Holland, Rocco, and Mirabella; sister, Sue Boulet; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deep gratitude and appreciation Kelly Murry for helping care for Jeanette in her time of need. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00am at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, Ohio with Jeremy Powell officiating. Jeanette's care and arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Walton Retirement Home, Hospice of Guernsey, or WVU Barnesville Hospital.
