Janet L. Phillips, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 13, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Lester and Essie (Smith) Spinner. Janet was a retired school bus driver for Streetsboro. She later went back to work driving bus for Belco. Janet scrapbooked in her free time. She enjoyed the outdoors, the ocean, and often went for long walks. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her infant son, Jacob Zumock; and her sister, Phyllis Pharrow. Janet is survived by her husband, Harold Phillips; children, Benjamin (Paula) Zumock, Shelley Zumock, Jason Zumock, and Jenna Zumock; step-children, Chantee (Brad) Gray, Jeremy Phillips, and Vance (Brianne) Phillips; grandchildren, Asher, Alex, Aden, Gavin, August, Caleb, Benni, Anthony, Blaire, Brayden, Cayleigh, Whitney, Hunter, Maddie, Cole, Kenzie, Khloe, Tripp, Freya, Travis, and Luella; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Walker, Peyten, and Waylon; sisters, Priscilla Higgins and Kelly Spinner; brother, Tom Spinner; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Libby and Joey Anderson. Honoring Janet's wishes cremation will take place with no additional services at this time. Her care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
