Janet Belle Hudson, 80, passed away from this life on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Barnesville Hospital.  Janet was born August 30, 1938 in New Concord, Ohio to the late Rozil and Ruth (Wright) Hudson.

Janet graduated from Barnesville High School in 1956.  After graduation, she began a career in different types of office work, beginning as a bookkeeper at Kirk's Furniture Store in Barnesville and finally retiring from the Farm Credit Services as a Loan Officer.

Janet was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ.  She also was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club which later became the Tuesday Ladies' Lunch Club, a ladies' Red Hat Group, Poplar Twig,  and Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary.  She spent many hours volunteering and serving the Barnesville Hospital in many ways.  She enjoyed bus tours and visiting many different states.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Patty Hudson.

Janet is survived by her sister, Bonnie (Carl) Lewis of Barnesville; brother, Duane Hudson of Barnesville; two nieces: Jita (Bill) Knox  of Barnesville and Carlene (Bill) Davis of Columbus; four nephews: Jeff (Kim) Lewis, Brad (Ann) Hudson, Rob (Nikki) Hudson all of Barnesville and Kevin (Julie) Lewis of Findlay, Ohio.  An enjoyable part of her life was several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10 am with Ev. Val Roxby officiating.  Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge, Ohio.
