Janalene Powell Kindelberger, 82, formerly of Navarre and Barnesville, Ohio died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in St. Clairsville. She was born on April 20, 1932 in Armstrong's Mills, Ohio to the late Sanford L. and Kathleen (Fultz) Morris.
Janalene graduated from Beallsville High School. She lived most of her adult life in Barnesville and retired from WesBanco. She was a member of the Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church, FMCA, and Good Sam Club. Janalene loved her family, traveling in the motor home, photography, wildlife, birds and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Don L. Powell; second husband, Emerson Kindelberger; son, Paul L. Powell; daughter: Crystal Carpenter; two sisters: Martha B. Skaggs and Betty Sturgill; and three brothers: William L., James and Robert Morris.
Janalene is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Joseph) Reitter of Belmont; son-in-law, Mark Carpenter of Navarre; daughter-in-law, Sherry Powell of Canton; step-daughter: Carol Kindelberger of Wooster; step-son, Jack Kindelberger of Glenmont; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11am with Pastor Dave West officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
