James J. Stephen, 75, of Woodsfield, Ohio died Saturday July 16, 2011. He was born December 7, 1935 in Monroe County, Ohio son of the late Marion and Gertrude (Stephen) Stephen. He was a farmer and member of the St. John's Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Francis L. Stephen and 3 sisters Mary Carpenter, Dorothy Dudley, and Mildred Winland. Surviving are 2 sisters Alberta Ackerman of Lewisville, Ohio and Emma Ruth Carpenter of Barnesville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 7-9pm Monday 7/18/11 at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home where services will be held at 11am Tuesday 7/19/11 with Fr. David Gadosik officiating. Burial follows in Crestview Cemetary, Barnesville.
