James Lucas Jr., 31, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1992 in Wheeling, West Virginia to James Lucas Sr. and Amy (Wilson) Johns. Junior was a 2011 graduate of Barnesville High School where he graduated with honors. He was a hard worker and heavy equipment operator by trade. He loved history and reading. Junior was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Lucas; aunt, Memory Valentine; and maternal grandparents, Homer and Ramona Wilson. Junior is survived by his father, James Lucas Sr.; mother, Amy Johns; two brothers, Justin Lucas, Jordan Lucas, and Kylen Williams; sisters, Carly Biskonti andJaya Reed; and paternal grandmother, Marilynn Lucas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Jean Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Farms Cemetery, Boston, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
