James D. "Jimmy" Lucas, 31, of Barnesville, Ohio died Sunday morning, September 4, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 20, 1980 in Wheeling, West Virginia to John T. and Gay L. (Leach) Lucas. Jimmy was a member of the Central Christian Church in Quaker City, American Legion, and Operating Engineer Local 66. He formerly worked as a welder for Ohio Bridge. He was an avid wrestler in high school as well as an avid hunter and fisherman who was motivated by the trophies. He was preceded in death by a brother - Jason D. "Peck" Lucas; paternal grandmother - Eloise Lucas; maternal grandfather - Danford Leach; and nephew - Noah J. Lucas. Surviving are his wife - Chelsea Fisher Lucas (August 27, 2011) of Barnesville; parents - John T. and Gay L. (Leach) Lucas of Barnesville; 4 children - Riley Fisher, Mykenzie Lucas, Lilah Lucas, and Brooklyn Lucas all of the home; 2 brothers - J.D. Lucas of Barnesville and Justin D. (Tabitha) Lucas of Barnesville; paternal grandfather - James Scott "Scottie" Lucas of Barnesville and maternal gradmother - Sarabell Leach of Barnesville; and nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11 AM with Pastor Oscar Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
