James E. Hayes, Sr., 77, of Barnesville passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 17, 1941 in Belmont County, Ohio to the late Everett and June (Hartley) Hayes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia L. (Moore) Hayes on April 26, 2007; and brothers, Roger Hayes and Marvin Hayes. James is survived by his son, James E. Hayes, Jr. of Barnesville; a grandson, Dylan Hayes of Cambridge; two brothers, Arthur Hayes of Cambridge and Willie Hayes of Cambridge. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1 PM with Rev. Rodney West officiating at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
