James Merrill Donley, Jr., 60, of Barnesville died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Ohio State Medical Center.  James was born in Martins Ferry on November 14, 1956 to the late James Merrill and Betty Lou (Pathorski) Donley, Sr.

James was a Presbyterian by faith.  He worked as a mechanic for Whitesides of Cambridge.  James loved being outdoors, bowling and riding motorcycles.

James is survived by his loving companion, Frances Johnson and her children and their families; and a sister.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Rev. Gene Miller officiating.
