James Kenneth Andrews, 82, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at his home. Jim was born on April 3, 1942 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late George William and Lois Beverly (Bates) Andrews.

Jim was a 1960 graduate of Barnesville High School and a 1972 graduate of Ohio University Eastern where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration. He was a retired Iron Worker for Local 549 where he worked for 40 years. Jim was a member of the East Main Church of Christ. Jim was such a people person, he always enjoyed company of his family, friends, neighbors, or anyone he came in contact with.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Bean) Andrews; son, Michael Paul Andrews; siblings, John Richard Andrews, Paul Stanton Andrews, Brenda Phyllis Bowersock, Cheryl Lynne Burr, and George William Andrews II; step-son, Doug Elerick; and grandchild, Casey Andrews.

Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce Andrews; sons, James (Vicky) Andrews, David Allen (Alberta) Andrews, and Brian Scott Andrews; grandchildren, Chantelle Adams, Jerry Andrews, Chance Andrews, Codi Andrews, and Nicole (William) Kern; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Freda Sue (Richard) Marendt; step-children, Cindy (Stephen) Benson, David (Linda) Elerick, Amy (Michael) Smith, and Lesta (Art) McCammon; several step-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00am at the East Main Church of Christ, 329 East South Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville.
