September 21, 1929 – January 31, 2015
Ina Jean Nucci, 85, of Flushing passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on September 21, 1929 in Belmont County, Ohio to the late George and Etta (Turner) Benton.
Jean is a member of the Flushing United Methodist Church and worked at NCR in Cambridge for many years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading and cooking meals for her family.
Jean also dearly loved her dogs. She was preceded in death by her faithful dog, Louie and will be deeply missed by her surviving dog, Tiny.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Nucci; daughter, Winsome Parrish; grandson, John Rinkes; granddaughter, Amy Kemp Kerker and her husband, James Kerker; great-grandson, Lucas Kerker; son-in-law, Bruce Taylor; and three sisters: Juanita Yockey, Nada Derthick and Olive Patterson.
Jean is survived by four daughters: Paget Taylor of Piedmont, Robyn (Gary) Kemp of Marysville, Risha (Stan) Romshak of Flushing and Lisa (Tom) Spano of Flushing; son, Richard (Debbie) Nucci of Flushing; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and another on the way in March; brother, John Benton of Medina; and sister, Betty Dunlap of Doylestown.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11am. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio.
