Ila Mae Inherst, 82, of Jerusalem, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born on August 27, 1942 in Monroe County to the late Denzil and Nellie (Henthorn) Beardmore. Ila was a member of the Boston Church of Christ. She loved cooking, reading, and watching the birds, butterflies, and the sunsets. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ila was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Inherst on November 30, 2021; and sister, Nora Inherst. Ila is survived by her son, John (Nan McBurney) Inherst of Jerusalem; three daughters, Martha (Tom) Winland of Jerusalem, Donna Inherst of Barnesville, Jacqueline (Brian) Daugherty of Jerusalem; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Patty Scheid; and brother, Russell (Teresa) Beardmore. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00am with Ev. Colin Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Somerton Southern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Boston Church of Christ.
