Hazel I. May, 80, of Barnesville died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Astoria Place of Barnesville.  Hazel was born on May 23, 1937 in Pleasant City, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Helen (Crum) Crock.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. May, Sr. on July 13, 2016; daughter, Barbara Ann May; and sister, Betty Doty.

Hazel is survived by her children: Sandra May of Morristown, Shirley (Tom) Bonnette of St. Clairsville, Mary (Chris) Swallie of Ashville, Ohio, Clifford E. May, Jr. of Circleville, Ohio and Tauna (H.T.) Niggemyer of Lansing;  eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and siblings: Linda Swallie, Robert (Vera) Crock and Wilma Burkhart.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Hazel will be buried with her husband in Crestview Cemetery.
