Harry David "Dave" Weiss, 74, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 19, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph Jacob and Pathacia Ann (Easterday) Weiss. Dave honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he dedicated his career to working as a Budget Analyst. He began a journey marked by integrity, diligence, and commitment to excellence. Throughout his service, Dave played a vital role in managing and overseeing financial operations, ensuring the responsible allocation of resources to support missions at home and abroad. He retired in March 1993 after more than 20 years of distinguished service. His contributions to the Air Force left a lasting impact, and he remained deeply proud of his time in uniform. He was known for a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. Dave had a lifelong love of nature, history, and lighthouses-often finding peace in the beauty of the natural world and inspiration in the stories of the past. Family was at the center of everything he did. He cherished time spent with loved ones, whether it was a family gathering, a quiet conversation, or just being together in the same room. Extremely non-confrontational by nature, he had a gift for bringing calm to difficult situations and was always ready to support anyone in need without hesitation or judgment. He knew he was in trouble with Dori yelled out Harry David Weiss. Dave and Dori were the definition of unconditional Love. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Weiss who passed away March 31, 2023 and Sister In Law Dessie Baker of Powhatan Point. Harry is survived by his Sister's Linda Yanow Stotter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Nephew Douglas Yanow of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Carol and Tony Rosario of Long Island, New York, Nephew John Rosario, Niece Janine and Tony Cassisi, Great Nieces and Nephews, Dylan, Kyra, Chase and Gianna Cassisi. In Laws: Rose and Bob Ewing of Barnsville, OH Verda May and Mansel Hillard of Barnsville, OH Dale and Debbie Palmer of Clarington, OH Larry and Debbie Palmer of Cadiz, OH Ernie and Karen of Bellsville, OH Ray Palmer of Barnsville, OH Tina Brown of Woodsfield, OH Terry Baker of Powhatan Point, OH. Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Great Nephew Jonathan David McLaughlin, Dave's name sake, Son of Lisa and Derrick McLaughlin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 1pm from 2pm with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio where military honors will be given by the American Legion.
