Harold "Bill" Gardiner, 85, of Quaker City, OH, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born December 15, 1924, in Guernsey County son of the late Wilbur and Freda (Luyster) Gardiner. He served in the Navy during WWII and was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ. Bill was preceded in death by his wife - Betty Ann Gardiner (January 27, 1970), companion - Sylvia Pitner, brother - Roy Gardiner and sister - May Davidson. Surviving are 2 daughters - Karen (Rick) Bradley of Quaker City and Pamela (Joseph) Boyd of Cambridge; brother - Carl Gardiner of Quaker City; 4 sisters - Ruth Sudduth of Barnesville, Mildred VanFossen of Steubenville, Joan Lynn of Florida and Margaret Paglialunga of St. Clairsville; and 2 grandchildren - Andrea (Brian) Pearson of Quaker City and Josh (Jamie) Boyd of Cambridge. Friends received Friday from 5 PM until time of the service at 7 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, OH with Pastor Rodney West officiating.
