George Michael Wells, 71, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at The Enclave at Barnesville. He was born on December 29, 1953 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Elijah Nina and Florence Isabelle (Ensley) Wells.

George was a 1972 graduate of Barnesville High School. He worked at Blaney's saw mill for several years and was also a grounds keeper at the Barnesville Memorial Park until his retirement. George enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Most importantly he loved his family and spending time with them.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Dexter Dennis.

George is survived by his two sons, Brandon (Amber) Wells and Jeremy (Bri) Wells; grandchildren, Brayden, Colt, Brantley, Bailey, Rileigh, and Emmalyn; sisters, Jane and Patricia; brother, Raymond; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bear.

Honoring George's wishes, cremation will take place with no additional services being held. George's care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
