Gaylord "Darhl" Benson, 76, of Fairview, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born on October 8, 1938 in Fairview, Ohio to the late Clyde Harold and Ina Claire (Secrest) Benson.

He was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church and was a self-employed machinist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother - Lynn Benson; infant brother - Thill Robin Benson; and several aunts and his "Gram" who helped to raise him.

Darhl is survived by his wife - Lillian "Pearl" (Zonker) Benson whom he married on June 28, 1957; daughter - Lora Cunningham of Fairview; grandchildren - Curtis Cunningham and Cory Cunningham both of Fairview; 2 great-grandchildren - Isabella and Chase; brother - Clifford (Louella) Benson; sister - Sharon Miracle; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitaiton will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio
