Freeda Ann Kirk, 60, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born January 12, 1951 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Fred William and Virginia "Ginny" (McElfresh) Mankin. She was a Senior Habilitation Specialist for Belmont County Habilitation Center and was a member of Belmont Better Hunting and Fishing Club. She was preceded in death by her husband - Wilber Charles Kirk, Sr. (03/10/2011) and a sister LaReeda Isaacs. Surviving are a son - Wilber "Chuck" (Beth) Kirk, Jr. of Barnesville; 2 daughters - Krystal Saffield of Barnesville and Jodi Whiteley of Barnesville; 5 grandchildren - Anna Kirk, Dustin Kirk, Brenna Saffield, Josie Whiteley and Joah Whiteley; brothers and sisters - LaVeeda (Tom) Allen, Toni (AJ DeShong) Billeter, LaNeeda Todd, Fred Mankin, Candy (Jay) Stein, Bea (Steve) Swallie, Dave (Wendy) Mankin, Butch (Jana) Mankin and Jacki (Jerry) Snyder; brother-in-law - Ron Isaacs; several nieces and nephews and a special dog - Lucy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1 PM for her and her husband Wilber C. Kirk, Sr. Rev. Ed Emory will officiate. Burial follows in Hope Cemetery, Hendrysburg. Memorials may be made to 3C's Cancer Support Group.
