Francis D. Starr, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born on November 4, 1935, in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Jacob and Mary Irene (Pekari) Starr. Francis was a retired Supervisor from Watt Car & Wheel in Barnesville. Francis enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Barnesville VFW Post 2792. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tina J. (Cook) Starr on April 17, 1998; and a brother, Richard "Dick" Starr. Francis is survived by his children, David Starr of Barnesville and Gary (Janet) Starr of Barnesville; three grandchildren, Kindra (Jessie) Swallie, Chas Starr, and Jessica (Jason) Leach; eight great-grandchildren, Kailee, Kaiden, Elizabeth, Emma, Hudson, Ian, Avi, Anson; companion, Kathy Wagner; three sisters, Barbara Borton, Carol Nace, and Bonnie McGee; five brothers, Dennis Starr, Terry Starr, Hubert Starr, Herbert Starr, and Ronnie Starr; and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 11 AM with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Francis' memory to the American Stroke Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
