Frances Margaret West, 93, of Shadyside, Ohio, formerly of Barnesville, died Thursday morning April 14, 2011 at Shadyside Care Center. She was born July 1, 1917 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Charles H. and Addie (Mayberry) Thomas. She was a member of the Barnesville First Christian Church, O.E.S., American Legion Auxiliary, and Barnesville Twig. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - William D. West (June 1985); brothers - Stewart Thomas, Walter Thomas, and John Thomas; sisters - Helen Ames, Dorothy Carpenter, and Kathryn Graham. Surviving are daughter - Holly (Richard) Ging of Shadyside; 2 grandsons - Trenton Ging and Trevor (Kristin) Ging; great-grandson - Brayden Ging; nieces - Becky Thomas, Nancy Grimes, Margie Clayton, Becky Giesey; and nephews - Rodney West and Greg West; 2 sisters-in-law - Mary Lou Giesey of Barnesville and Bonnie West of Barnesville. Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM with Pastor Rodney West officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
