Florence J. Lee, 84, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center in St. Clairsville. She was born on March 21, 1940, in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Albert Hoff and Mary Genevieve (Norris) Price.

Florence was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville and a member of the Watt Center. Florence worked as a seamstress for Jonathan Logan and later 5B's. Florence loved to sew, cook, and sit on the front porch reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Howard Denver Lee, Jr. on March 2, 2021; sisters, Shirley Beck and Sharon Leasure; and brother, Keith Hoff.

Florence is survived by her children, Brenda (Bruce) Carpenter of Barnesville and Melissa (David) McMillen of Barnesville; four grandchildren, Bruce "J.R." (Brooke) Carpenter, Jr., Nathan Carpenter, Sarah McMillen, and Eric McMillen; three great-grandchildren, Jenna Carpenter, Julia Carpenter, and Jackson Wright; and great-great-granddaughter, Lynden Wright.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 10am until the time of the service at 12pm with Pastor Van Fisher officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library.
