Esther R. (McFarland) Koerber, 85, of Barnesville passed away Friday afternoon, January 4, 2013. She was born December 19, 1927 in Barnesville to the late Lowell and Grace (Phillips) McFarland.

After graduating from Barnesville High School and Elliott School of Business, she began her business career in the office of Barnesville Manufacturing.  Later, she chose to stay home to raise her children. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  T. Emery Koerber (6/14/1996); her brother, Blaine McFarland; her sister, Jessie Repik; her sister-in-law, Betty Koerber; and her niece, Suellen (Repik) Mattison.

Surviving are her daughter, Cindy (David) Goff of St. Clairsville; her son, Barry L. Koerber of Charleston, West Virginia; her sister, Velma McFarland of Bethesda; her brothers-in-law: Clyde Repik of Bethesda and Jerry Koerber of Mt. Holly, North Carolina; her sisters-in-law: Charlotte (Fred) Warner of Westerville, Ohio and Ilene McFarland of Grand Junction, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
