Erica Renee Peddicord, 35, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1988 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Barbara Toohey and Philip Van Horn.

Erica was a 2007 graduate of Union Local High School and the JVS. After high school she attended Belmont Tech where she obtained various degrees. Recently she worked at Barnesville Schools where she had subbed for the past two years. She was involved in many organizations and was always volunteering for various groups. She was the rock that helped hold the family together and a jack of all trades. She was a devoted wife, Momma, and friend to all. Her girls were her pride and joy.

Erica was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Erica is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Jason "Jake" Peddicord; her three daughters, Rylee, Regan, and Ripley Peddicord; mother, Barbara (Michelle) Toohey; father Philip (Denise) Van Horn; brothers, Scotty (Casey) Van Horn and Ethan Van Horn; sister, Samantha (Tyler Binegar) Van Horn; step brothers, James Dusch and Dennis Dusch; step sister, Renee Dusch; in-laws, Cindy (John) Lynn and Daniel Peddicord; brother-in-law, Ray (Mariah) Lynn and Danny Peddicord; sister-in-law, Kelly (Ron) Newport; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 2-6pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
