Eric D. Saffield, 50, of Barnesville died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Ohio Valley Medical Center.  He was born in Barnesville on May 20, 1963 to Ronald E. and Sandra (Fields) Saffield of Barnesville.

Eric was a 1981 graduate of Barnesville High School.  He was a carpenter by trade.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Rhonda Pettini of Canton, Christina Chappell of Barnesville and Nick Saffield of Barnesville; and nieces and nephews: Amber Jo Batross, Brandon Benson, Ryan Duvall and Brenna Saffield all of Barnesville.

At Eric's request, there will be no visitation or service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville.
