Elroy "Brown Eyes" Clark, 83, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home. Elroy was born on May 30, 1939 in Neffs, Ohio to the late Eugene and Mabel (Mace) Clark.
Elroy was a United States Army Veteran who served during Korea. Elroy is a member of the Wharton Sportsmans Club where he was currently serving as president. He had been self-employed as a gravedigger and excavator for over 50 years.
In addition to his parents, Elroy was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lou (Swallie) Clark; sisters, Mamie Lykins and Credella Shriver; and brothers: Robert, Russell, Leroy and Charles Clark.
Elroy is survived by his children: John (Marianne) Clark, Jerry (Diana) Clark, Joey (Elaine) Clark and Tanya (Kirk) Blackstone; eight grandchildren: Jordan Clark, Jaimie (Coty) Caltrider, Victoria (Tate) Christman, Nathan Clark, Joshua Clark, Kaitlyn Clark, Sharon Blackstone and Tyler Blackstone; three great-grandchildren: Eliana, Jayce and Stetson; brother, Bernard (Rosie) Clark; sisters: Elizabeth Kelley, Mabel (Dennis) McClurg, Blanche Armstrong and Esther Dailey; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm with Rick Lallathin officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. A military service will be conducted by Belmont County Veteran's Association at Crestview Cemetery.
