Eloise Marie Ward, 81, of Barnesville died on Monday, October 14, 2013 at her home.  She was born on July 2, 1932 in Barnesville to the late Elmer and Gladys (Adkins) Greenwood.

Eloise was a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church and the Barnesville Homemakers Club.  She worked as a secretary for Kirk's Furniture and then for Lakeland Foods.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Greenwood and a sister, Carol Starr.

Eloise is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry Ward; son, Steve (Carla) Ward of Barnesville; daughter, Vicki (Bob) Lowry of Barnesville; 2 granddaughters: Rebecca Lowry and Jenny Lowry both of Barnesville; brother, Robert "Beans" (Dorcas) Greenwood of Barnesville; 4 sisters: Barbara Carpenter of Barnesville, Shirley (Jim) Swallie of Barnesville, Betty Greenwood of Columbus and Sandra Stephens of Barnesville; sister-in-law, Lena Greenwood of Barnesville; brother-in-law, Dan Starr of Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with friends and family is being planned for a later date.  Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made in Eloise's name to Valley Hospice or a charity of choice.
