Duane E. "Duke" Hudson, 79, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Duane was born on October 31, 1942 in New Concord, Ohio to the late Rozil and Ruth (Wright) Hudson. Duane was a 1960 graduate of Barnesville High School and he was a member of the East Main Church of Christ. He was owner and operator of DE Hudson & Sons Trucking. He was a longtime member and officer of the Seneca Sportsmens Club. He was an avid NHRA race fan and raced back in the 1960s. In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Lou (Louden) Hudson on November 16, 2015; son, Chad Michael Hudson; and sister, Janet B. Hudson. Duane is survived by his two sons: Brad (Ann) Hudson of Barnesville and Robbie (Nichole) Hudson of Barnesville; grandson, Justin (Delilah) Hudson; two granddaughters, Isabella Hudson and Everly Hudson; sister, Bonnie (Carl) Lewis of Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11am with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
