Dorothy L. Schumacher, 86, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born November 2, 1925 in Caldwell, Ohio to the late Urban and Frona (Miller) Nau. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Barnesville, Catholic Women's Club, and was a Rotary cook for 31 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by son - Thomas H. Schumacher; brother - William Nau; and sister - Eleanor Froehlich. Surviving are husband of 66 years - Martin J. Schumacher, Sr.; 2 sons - Martin J. (Terri) Schumacher, Jr. of Barnesville and Ronald E. (Robin) Schumacher of Lancaster, South Carolina; 2 daughters - Mary Ann (Sonny) Miller of Columbus and Norma J. (Bud) Matko of St. Clairsville; 12 grandchildren - Michelle (Chris) Rangus, Malinda (Timothy) Maloney, Melanie Miller, Melissa (Dave) Bonvino, Ronna (John) Egan, Ryan Schumacher, Russell Schumacher, Thoue (Jeff) Bronowski, Justin (Cara) Matko, Matthew (Valerie) Schumacher, Timothy (Christie) Schumacher, and Britny Schumacher; and 18 great-grandchildren. Vistation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 3-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 10 AM at Church of the Assumption in Barnesville with Msgr. Mark Froehlich officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
