Dorothy Eileen Allar, 75, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehab. She was born on April 4, 1940 in New Matamoras, Ohio to the late Virginia Amelia Hanlon.
Dorothy attended the Shady Lane Baptist Church in Barnesville. She was the owner and operator of the Country Gift Shop in Barnesville for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Allar and a brother, Ted Lamp.
Dorothy is survived by her four children: Diane (Mark) Falcone of Westerville, Brad (Debbie) Allar of Barnesville; Brian Allar of Japan, and Donita (Joe) Moore of Lancaster; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers: Frank (Donna) Lamp of Muncie, Indiana and Bill (Sue) Lamp of Chester, West VIrginia; and a sister, Gladys King of Bidwell, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 11am until the time of the service at noon at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda.
