Doris Irene (Rogers) Plumly, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio died Thursday morning, October 13, 2011 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born February 13, 1928 in Byesville, Ohio to the late Clayton M. and Lillian (Brown) Rogers. Mrs. Plumly was a member of the Somerton Church of Christ and Swiss Ohio Campers. She was a retired LPN from Barnesville Hospital of 13 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers - Clarence, Paul, and Roy Rogers. Surviving are her husband of 63 years - Gene H. Plumly (6/19/1948); son - Roger (Jane) Plumly of Barnesville; 2 daughters - Rebecca Roberts of Birmingham, Alabama and Rena (Charles Brannon) Shepherd of Westerville, Ohio; 2 brothers - Robert (Virginia) Rogers of Westerville, Ohio and Eugene (Anita) Rogers of Barnesville; 3 grandchildren - Natasha (Tom Zani) Plumly of Steubenville, Sean Shepherd of Westerville, Ohio and Vanessa Plumly of Cincinnati, Ohio. Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 3-5 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11 AM with Evangelist Kim McFarland officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey County Memory Gardens in Cambridge, Ohio.
