Donald L. "Gump" Anderson, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Ohio's Hospice of Central Ohio at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born on May 12, 1945 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late George and Pansy (Wade) Anderson.

Don was a 1963 graduate of Barnesville High School. Don was Christian by faith, a member of Kirkwood Lodge #446, and of the Barnesville Elks Lodge #1699. He was a volunteer for the Barnesville Fire Department for several years, was an avid bowler, he loved Nascar, sports, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Stephen; and brothers, Eugene Anderson and Paul Anderson.

Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Wells) Anderson; daughters, Rhonda (Jay) Tallman and Missy (Ray) Wright; grandchildren, Paige (Jake) Royalty and Parker Wright; sister, Joyce Browning of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 4pm until the time of the Fire Departments Service at 6:30pm with an Elks Service following at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00am with Ev. Kim McFarland officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville.
