Donald K. Fisher, 91, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Emerald Pointe. He was born in Barnesville, Ohio on June 22, 1933 to the late Francis A. and Dorothy (Clouse) Fisher. Don was a graduate of Barnesville High School and a United States Army Veteran. He owned Fisher Meats and also worked as a car salesman for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #168 and the B.P.O.E. #1699. He enjoyed fishing and boating and watching NASCAR. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Fisher on February 6, 2022; and his special dog, Ollie. Don is survived by his sons, Scott (Sandy) Fisher and Steven (Angie) Fisher; granddaughters, Madalyn Fisher, Kelsey (Matt) Wise, and Brianna (Butch) Holskey; great-grandchildren, Stella and Theo Wise; and grand dogs, Bailey, Biscuit, Half Pint, and Cooper; and cats, Double Stuff and the terror - Scooter. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 12:00pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Guernsey.
