Donald G. Davidson, Sr., 85, of Barnesville died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born on February 20, 1930 in Wheeling, WV to the late Butler L. and Mabel (Neer) Davidson.

Donald is a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a member of the Somerton United Methodist Church but attended the Bethesda United Methodist Church.  Donald was retired from Ormet.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Helen Davidson; son-in-law, Joe Starr; and grandson, Christian Allen Domingues.

Donald is survived by his son, Donald (Dianna) Davidson, Jr. of Westport, MA; two daughters: Sue Starr and Melinda (Brian) Lyden of Somerton; five grandchildren: Jesse (Amity) Starr, Christa (George) Ruckman, Matthew Lyden, Brittany (Justin) Wells and Jocelyn Koren (Jarrett) Walters; and six great-grandchildren: Conner, Mason and Aiden Starr, Tristin and Kyleigh Domingues, and Ariana Rose Walters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00am with Rev. Tom Detling officiating.  Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.  VFW Belmont County Honor Guard will conduct military services at the funeral home at 10:45am.
