IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deborah Ann
Ivanoff
November 17, 1954 – February 10, 2026
Deborah Ann Ivanoff, 71, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away at The Enclave of Barnesville. She was born on November 17, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Donna (Abersold) Ivanoff.
Deborah attended St. Peter's, Latimer, and Allegheny Schools in Pittsburgh and later the Institute of Children's Literature, where she nurtured her lifelong love of writing and storytelling. Incredibly creative, she expressed herself through journaling, decorating, and the countless clever ideas she brought to life. As a Navy wife and devoted stay‑at‑home mom, she dedicated herself to raising her children with strength, humor, and unwavering love. She found joy in the beach, collecting sea glass, grounding herself in nature, and creating warm, welcoming spaces. Known for her fun spirit and her knack for making any moment brighter, she cherished time with her family and friends - often with a good glass of wine in hand.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie "Dicky" Ivanoff; son-in-law, Ron "Ronaldo" Miller; and brother-in-law, Paul Kehm.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Diana Purcell-Miller; her son, Michael (Sarah) Purcell; twin grandchildren, Bronco and Genevieve "Gigi" Purcell; twin sisters, Maureen Kehm and Colleen Ivanoff; brother, Joe (Jan) Ivanoff; two nephews, Hayden Kehm and Nathan Kehm; nieces, Lea Bonnefond and Bria Ivanoff.
Honoring Deborah's wishes, cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life being held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Deborah's care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Deborah's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
