David Spriggens, 65, of Somerton died Saturday, July 13, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born on March 1, 1948  to the late Samuel and Mabel (Albutt) Spriggens in Gainsborough, England.

David had a passion for building and flying model airplanes and loved german shepherd dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Melissa Spriggens of Somerton, Ohio; daughter, Esther "My Princess" (Russell Styles) Bell of England; grandson, Luke Styles of England; mother-in-law, Gerry Ledger; father-in-law, Jimmy Roberts; and 3 step-children: Timothy Moore, Jr, Tiffanie (Gus) Jeffers and Bryan McGarry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Burial will follow in Somerton Cemetery.
