Darren Eugene Truax, 53, of Barnesville died Friday, November 18, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital.  Darren was born on March 4, 1963 in Barnesville to the late Dale and Vera Ellen (Wells) Truax.

Darren was a 1981 graduate of Barnesville High School and worked for Stingray Oil and Gas Company.  He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Clubs in Cambridge.

Darren is survived by a daughter, Amber Truax (Chris Brown, Sr.) of Barnesville; son, Ronnie Truax of Red Bluff, California; four grandchildren: Ella Brown, Cooper Truax, Ashton Truax and Dylan Truax; two siblings: Monty Truax (Robyn Lashley) and Tina Milligan (Greg Spano) both of Barnesville; three nieces: Graceann Hooper, Kayla Truax and Mandy Richards; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1:00pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
