Daniel Lockwood Brown, 56, of Temperanceville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Starr Barr in Calais, Ohio. Danny was born on December 19, 1967 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Denzil R. Brown and Gertrude Alma Jane (Hayes) Brown. Danny was a 1986 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He was a member of Batesville Legion Post 578. Danny loved to dance, he was known to many as "Dancin' Dan". He liked horses and gardening. He was a great cook, a farmer, and an all around hard working handy man and a jack of all trades. He loved his children, grandchildren, and family with his whole heart. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by granddaughter, Makynzie Kilburn. Danny is survived by his children, Brittany (Preston) Kilburn, Alice Brown, Nathan Brown, Asher Brown, Reuben Brown, and Janet Brown; grandchildren, Addyson, Presley, Peyton, Daltyn, Auston, and Hoyt;sisters, Regina (Charles) Starr, Cindy (Don) Beckett, Dremmia (Michael) Winland; brother, Rick Brown; his "old Bear dog"; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 3-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Batesville Cemetery.
