Dan Hatcher, 63, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  Dan was born in Barnesville, Ohio on December 27, 1953 to the late Lawrence Eugene Hatcher and Norabel Sullivan Martin.

Dan was a 1973 graduate of Barnesville High School.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two sisters:  Linda Gibbons and Betty Gibbons.

Dan is survived by his wife, Sara (Stephens) Hatcher; son, Joe (Rose) Bostaph of Barnesville; two grandsons: Dylan and Ryan Bostaph both of Barnesville; two brothers: John (Margaret) Hatcher of Barnesville and Russell Gibbons of Umatilla, Florida; sister, Sandra Wadsworth of Malvern; step-mother, Mary Hatcher of Freeport; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 2pm until the time of the service at 4pm with Pastor Ed Emory officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
