Dale Ray Milhoan, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Barnesville Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on September 4, 1934 in Belmont County, Ohio to the late Charles and Carrie (Gatten) Milhoan.

Dale was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville, Barnesville American Legion Post 169, Barnesville VFW Post 2792, and Barnesville B.P.O.E Lodge #1699. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Ohio Valley Paving and later retired from Arrow Concrete.

Dale was deeply devoted to his family.  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  Dale enjoyed traveling and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Morgan Milhoan and Allen Dee Milhoan; two sisters, Martha Louise Colman and Mary Gipson; and a half-brother, Alison Hatcher.

Dale is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Eileen (Hupp) Milhoan whom he married on September 10, 1955; two daughters, Teresa Eileen (Gordon) Valine of Barnesville and Tammy Jo (Charles) Ewing of Batesville; three grandsons, Justin (Aleah) Valine, Jesse Dale (Kate) Ewing, and Charles Katlin Ewing; and a great-granddaughter, Blake Maxine Ewing.

A memorial service will be held at the chapel in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2pm with Rev. Ted Buehl officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.  Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestntut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
