Cynthia Marie Carpenter, 74, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Emerald Pointe. She was born on May 20, 1950 in Barnesville to the late Woodrow Wilson Carpenter and Patsy Lou Lucas. Cindy was a 1968 graduate of Shenandoah High School. She was a cashier for McDonalds for many years. Cindy loved country music, cooking, dancing, going to square dances, she really just enjoyed having a good time. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Carpenter; two brothers, Todd Carpenter and Danny (Mary) Carpenter. Cindy is survived by her son, Jesse Carpenter; brother, Chris (Yvonne) Carpenter; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends; and her cat, Buttons. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Batesville Cemetery.
