Clifford Gerald "Jerry" Ward, 88, of Barnesville died Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home.  Jerry was born on April 4, 1929 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Vernon and Mary (Bailey) Ward.

Jerry was Barnesville High School graduate and was an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Ohio Bell as a lineman and phone repairman. He was a member of the Barnesville VFW Post 2792 and was a charter member of the National Pike Knife Club.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Marie Ward on October 14, 2013; step-father, John Campbell; and a brother, Al Ward.

Jerry is survived by his children: Steve (Carla) Ward and Vicki (Bob) Lowry both of Barnesville; two granddaughters: Rebecca and Jenny Lowry of Barnesville; brother, Wayne "Zeke" (Trudi) Ward of Tiffin, Ohio; and two step-sisters: Dorothy (Bruce) Henderson of St. Clairsville and Eileen (Bob) Detling of Uniontown, Ohio.

In accordance to Jerry's wishes there will be no visitation or services.  Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-MIlburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
