Clarence L. Wells, 88, of Quaker City died Friday, August 9, 2013.  He was born on March 12, 1925 to the late Clarence and Lola (Palmer) Wells in Bemont County.

He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Barnesville Nazarene Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella V. Wells; 2 sons: Gary Wells and Mark Wells; and 2 grandsons: Aron Wells and Marvin Steele.

He is survived by 5 sons: Rollie (Diane) Wells of Quaker City, Francis (Phyllis) Wells of Stone Creek, Duane Wells of Old Washigington, Bill Wells of Uhrichsville, and Dennis (Carol) Wells of Old Washington; 4 daughters: Sandra (Bob) Steele of Fairview, Patsy (Benny) Ankrom of Barnesville, Marsha (Kim) Ankrom of Bolivar, and Julie (Dan) Peters of Quaker City: several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and brother, Francis Wells of Bellaire.

Services will be at the convienence of the family.  Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
