Cindy Sue Showalter, 64, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1959 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Jerry Archie and Sandra Sue (Baker) Wildes. Cindy was a graduate of Barnesville High School. She also obtained her accounting degree from Belmont Technical College. Cindy loved scratching lottery tickets and camping. Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing in the world. Cindy is survived by her husband of 46 years Richard Showalter; daughters, Nichole Showalter, Rebecca (Jared) Bailey, and Samantha (Joseph Swiger) Showalter; grandchildren, Emmeka Showalter, Westin Bailey, and Charles Swiger; brothers, Danny (Lora) Wildes and Randy (Vonda) Wildes; sister, Vicky (Jim) Andrews; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Sewellsville Cemetery.
