Christopher A. "Otis" Lucas, 38, of Temperanceville, Ohio passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 18, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1987 in Cambridge, Ohio to Risa D. (Burkhart) Crum and Jeffrey A. "Woody" Lucas.
Otis was a 2006 graduate of Barnesville High School and worked as a truck driver for Belmont Mills. He had a contagious smile and a kind heart, treating everyone he met with warmth and respect. Chris was everyone's biggest supporter and a true friend to all. To know him was to love him.
He was a devoted and proud father to his beautiful daughter, Stella, who meant the world to him. Chris also had a fun side-he was a die-hard Swifty, a passion that brought him a lot of joy. He was a avid Pittsburgh fan and The Ohio State University fan.
Otis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Burkhart; and paternal grandfather, Jerry Lucas.
He is survived by his daughter, Stella Lucas; mother, Risa D. (Steve) Crum; father, Jeffrey A. "Woody" (Malinda) Lucas; brothers, Todd (Kate) Crum, Joey (Grayce) Crum (his lil bro), Weston Lucas, Jared Lucas; sisters, Nisha (Zach) Orum, and Rylan Lucas; maternal grandma, Shelley Burkhart; paternal grandmother, Mary (Howiler) Lucas; aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Michael) McKnight and Brent Burkhart, Kevin Lucas, Billie Jean Giesey, and Darrell Groves; and many cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 3pm until the time of the service at 7pm with his brother, Todd Crum officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
