Charles Clarence Johnson, 69, Barnesville, Ohio died April 18, 2012 at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born October 19, 1942 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Lora Belle (Blake) Johnson. He was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ. Charles loved to put puzzles together and play dominoes and collect John Deere as a hobby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife - Susan Lindale Johnson; three sisters - Dorothy Talbot, Betty Reuter, and Gladys Burghy; half sister - Myrtle Montileona; and a half brother - Walter Blake. Surviving are his loving companion of 8 years - Maxine Mayhugh of Barnesville, Ohio; four sisters - Barbara Patton of Waynesburg, PA, Charlotte Mayberry of Barnesville, Ruth Rushin of Jerusalem, and Phylis Giesey of Berea, Ohio; four brothers - Dale, Carl, and Wayne of Barnesville, and Kenneth of Flushing; and several nieces & nephews. Charles dearly loved Maxine's great-grandchildren as his own grandchildren - Owen Daniel Magers and Lilly Rose Leach. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11 AM with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
