Charles Gordon Bewley, 69, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and husband of wife Carol Willis Bewley for 52 years lost his battle with cancer Monday, May 7, 2012 in Bellaire, Ohio. Preceded in death by Donna Bewley Mitchell, his sister, survived by parents - Mary Lu and Charles Bewley of Somerton, Ohio; sister - Lu Ann (Jim) Barbina, Ohio; brother - Pastor Dennis (Lois) Bewley, Ohio; five children - Charles Eddie Bewley of Florida, Tammy Bewley Marmie of Barnesville, Michelle (Jeff) Neal of Barnesville, David Gregory Bewley of Columbus, and Christopher (Shelby) Bewley of Barnesville; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two bassett hounds - Heidi and Nanna. He was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church in Barnesville, Saginaw Coal Miner (5 years), meat cutter/butcher (18 years), and Belmont Senior Services Driver. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Barnesville 3C's. Visitation Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 2-4 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
