Cathy R. Marr, 72, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the Barnesville Hospital Emergency Room. She was born on January 3, 1947, in Wheeling, WV to the late Raymond E. and Catharine L. (Dillon) Hall. She was a 1965 graduate of Zane Trace High School and was a retired case worker for Belmont County Department of Job & Family Services. Cathy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Richard E. Marr; two daughters, Angela Briggs (Michael) Freeman of Barnesville and Tawnya Briggs (Casey) Stephens of Salesville; step-son, Michael (Melissa) Marr of New Athens; six grandchildren, Dillon Freeman, Cole (Brianna) Briggs, Maddison Stephens, Casey Stephens, Shane Michael Marr, and Tiffany Stabile; and two great-grandchildren, Lawson Bebout and Emilia Briggs. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 1:00-5:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019, at 11am with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City, Ohio.
