Catherine J. Hagan, 92, Barnesville died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born October 20, 1917 at Temperanceville, daughter of the late George William and Mary Burkhart Gallagher. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband - Mansel Hagan (1/4/1994); daughter - Barbara Ann Hagan, 4 brothers = William, Nicholas, Michael and Eugene "Fiz" Gallagher and 2 sisters - Blanche Dunn and Louise Sutherland. Surviving are 5 sons - Sam (Kathy) Hagan of Fostoria, OH, Jim Hagan of St. Marys, OH, George B. Hagan of Middletown, OH, Tom (Becky) Hagan of Englewood, OH and Paul Hagan of Huber Heights, OH; daughter - Rebecca (Bill) Casto of Nitro, WV; brother - John Herbert Gallagher of Columbus; sister - Pauline Peonski of IL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 at Caampbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St. Barnesville, OH. Mass of Christain Burial 10 AM Monday at Assumption Catholic Church with Msgr Mark Froehlich. Burial in Somerton Cemetery The family would like to thank everyone who prayed and encouraged us through our Mother's illness including all of her friends at the Barnesville Manor. We especially thank the stafffs at Barnesville Hospital, EORH, and Barnesville Health Care Center. The family also wishes to express much love and appreciation to John and Rae Jean Logan and family, Peggy Conway and family and very special lifetime friend, Betty Plumly and family. What would we have done without all of you? Her passing leaves an emptiness that will be most difficult to fill, but we will move forward as she would want, never wanting for herself, but always for others. Mother, we will love and miss you always. Thank you for everything, you have done well, be at rest, and one day we will be together again.
