Carol Lee (Robb) Swallie, 70, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at her home. She was born March 29, 1941, in Barnesville to the late William Frederick and Alberta Lee (Stephens) Robb. She worked as a secretary, was a member of the Barnesville East Main Street Church of Christ, and Barnesville Chapter Red Hatters. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband - Larry E. Swallie (8/12/2005). Surviving are 3 daughters - Robin (Dennis) Hoskinson of Barnesville, Melody (Blake) Hoskinson of Barnesville, and Jennifer (Stephen) Bradfield of Huron, Ohio; 7 grandchildren - Crissy Hoskinson, Jessica (Bryan) Clark, Jason McConnell, Jill McConnell, Johannah (Brandon Johnson) McConnell, Julianne (Joshua) Dewey, and Jake Bradfield; 5 great-grandchildren - Maddox Whaley, Gabriel McConnell, Kai McConnell, Noah McConnell, and Rylee McConnell. Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio, 43713. Services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the East Main Street Church of Christ, 340 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Evangelist Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to East Main Street Church of Christ Building Fund or Guernsey County Hospice.
